SAP Integration Specialist (Phases 1–2)

Role Overview: The SAP Integration Specialist owns the design and implementation of agent-to-SAP connectivity, specifically the draft-order creation workflow triggered by the parts identification agent. This role is engaged as scope requires within Phases 1 and 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Map SAP entities and processes relevant to agent workflows (material master, purchase requisitions, order types, approval workflows).
• Select the appropriate integration approach (SAP BTP, OData services, BAPI, middleware) based on Client’s SAP environment.
• Implement read and write integrations with least-privilege service accounts and appropriate error handling.
• Coordinate with Client SAP administrators on transport management and change control.
• Build resilience: retries, idempotency, and audit trails for every write operation.
• Produce an integration runbook and handoff documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of SAP integration experience across S/4HANA or ECC environments.
• Deep familiarity with SAP BTP, OData, BAPIs, and integration middleware (Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or equivalent).
• Experience with purchase order / procurement modules (MM) and draft-order creation workflows.
• Strong security posture: service principals, secrets management, audit.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

• SAP integration or BTP certifications.
• Prior experience integrating SAP with conversational AI or agent platforms.
