Business Analyst / Technical project manager:

Qualifications & Skills:
Required:

• 3-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst in data-driven projects, preferably within the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance data across underwriting, claims, policy administration, and actuarial functions.
• Experience with data domain modeling, metadata management, and taxonomy development.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks (e.g., DAMA DMBOK, DCAM).
• Proficiency in SQL and Alteryx preferred. Most teams operate in a BI  
• Excellent documentation and communication skills, with experience creating BRDs, FRDs, and data dictionaries.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred:

• Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data lakes.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) tools such as Informatica, Collibra, or Talend.
• Knowledge of general life insurance concepts and as well as regulatory requirements related to data management and reporting.

Salary: up to $70/hr
